Went there for the first time yesterday for the first time to get some .45LC ammo.
I couldn't remember if it was a decent place from others reviews.
They seemed normally priced for the panic buying that is going on. I personally wouldnt buy much from them based on the knowledge of old prices.

WHat does everyone else think of them?

The original location was over on Broadway just south of 11th.  When I first moved to the Denver area in '84 it was the first shop I went to.  I became a regular and very friendly with Bill and Lola the original owners.

They always treated me very well and like a member of the family.  By the way Matt Gish, a very fine gunsmith (actually built the pistol Les Baer submitted for the FBI HRT 1911 trials) started there.

I followed them out to their current location and stayed loyal through the sale to the current owner.

As my parent's taught me, if you don't have anything nice to say about someone don't say anything.

Lucky to find 45LC. I picked up the last box at BassPro yesterday for $42. What I couldn't believe was the price of 357 mag. $38 for a box of 50. BassPro was just about empty on re loading equipt. and only had 4 hand guns left in the case. I can't remember, does George at The Gun Room sell any re loading equipt.? I never saw if you found 45LC at TGR or not?

Is that the guy who was at Gunworks of Colorado at Wads/Hampden before they closed and Green Mountain Guns took the space over?

You're thinking of Bart Miller.  Last I heard (which was a while ago) he was out at Bass Pro, don't know if he's still there.

Matt left The Gun Room, went to work for Les Baer and now has his own shop,
