Looking at buying a stripped lower (Spike's), and was wondering if anyone could recommend an FFL with a fair transfer fee? Preferably southern CO

Or should I just take my chances at the Tanner show this weekend?

Frank at Let's Make A Deal pawnshop on N. Academy in Colo Springs charges $15.  Best price I've seen.  He's a good guy too.

Although I can recomend Jim and Alan for a lower (or three) purchase, what area in S.Colorado are we talking?

My FFL is in Penrose Colorado he charges $10/transfer. I have not bought from Spikes so I am not sure if Spikes has his FFL on file (but I know that Nodak, Cav Arms, Anvil Arms, AIM, and G&R tactical are on file).  Email if you would like contact information.

Cool, another FFL who is real reasonable in Colorado Springs is
http://evil-black-rifles.com/

he has stripped lowers in stock for very reasonable prices.

And he does Title 2 stuff as well, for a very reasonable transfer and/or margin.

In fact, a Trident 9 is coming my way through him at this very moment... MUWAHAHA

ETA - He's on North Academy, between Dublin and Woodmen.

Frank moved, but he's still charging the same reasonable price:

For the stuff we can't support/find locally from the good references in this thread, I can tell you this is a solid FFL with no BS associated.

B2

(I heard even "Specialty" has decided to do transfers now... HOWEVER, beware their price is $50!  Wow, I really like most of those folks, but they've "squeezed a lot of lemonade" out of COS over the years.   )

I have to agree on Specialty, went in there the other day and they want $20.95 for PMAGS. That's only 50% above mfg. list price. They really are good people, they always treat me very well.. I have bought several smaller items there over the years but I usually make my bigger purchases elsewhere, or online.

As for FFL I  use Rich at Voelker Research. He is great to deal with. Both shipping and receiving, very reasonable prices too.

I was at Specialty this morning, I heard them quote a military guy $35 per gun to do a transfer.
