How come no one has metioned the machine gun shoot in Cheynne Wells this weekend.
Has anybody been and is it worth going to

I have been a couple times. It is a long drive so I would stay overnight if you go, plus tracers are fun!

Anyone know how much it will be to shoot different guns this year? And will tracers be allowed?

I loved going the other times & the whole town gets into the event.

Im going..Cheynne Wells shoot is twice the size of the Ft Morgan shoot. I love going.
Take a tent or a camper and have a good time..

I've been several times. Well worth the drive. Today is not the day to be there as wind gusts to 70. Sat and Sun should be good. +1 on tracer shoot. The "mad minute" is something you gotta see.

So who went!! I was there friday & saturday. friday just went into town got a room and waited out the winds. saturday was great!!! went through alot of ammo out of my fevorite gun "MG-42" wife shot some to. went home saturday evening square with the world Tom

Wind Friday was ridiculous. Saturday was what we have come to expect from Cheyenne Wells shoot. Plenty of spent brass to process and AR's to clean. Fun Fun

How were the prices to shoot? And was attendance down because of the price of gas?

Appeared to be a normal size crowd. Seems as though if they can afford ammo they can afford fuel. We pay for spot and shooters badges so I don't rent.
