I live in Jefferson County and have a question about what method of payment is required? I was told by someone that two payments were required. Can you pay with a credit card or a regular personal check or do you need a certified check or a money order?

In JeffCo we needed a money order, I think there was a 7-11 just down the street from the Sheriff's office.

Cashiers check up here, I don't think they accept cash.
You know how that can get lost and all......

CBI requires some form of certified funds for their part (cashiers check or money order), your sheriff may accept other forms for their part. Karl.
