Hmmm. I am not hunting them with the spotlight, just looking for them with it.

I guess I'll call someone about it. But I know that brings 5-6 different answers depending who you get on the phone.

Oh. Did you check out the link?

Somewhere it said it was considered "spotlight hunting" if you had a spotlight and a gun in the vehicle.

So, in theory, you could spotlight the critters and be legal if you left your guns at home. But expect to be hassled if seen.
