Well folks, the sad story is this:

I tried to "do" firearms for a living for the past year-and-a-half and it just hasn't worked out. Tough economy, tough market, low margins. So I am closing my retail storefront operation and I may re-emerge as an internet-only distributor.

I haven't decided if I will keep my Dealer status on ARFCOM or convert it to a Team membership, but that decision can wait.

Anyway, you are all invited to come to my store and help me get rid of this stuff so I can pay the bank some of what I owe them.

In the meantime, I will return to my profession in engineering management and product development. If nothing else I've earned an MBA the hard way. Thanks to all those who have supported me up until this point.

Sad news to hear Chris. I've personally bought 2 rifles from you guys, including your HK91 most recently.  You definitly have one of the nicer stores around. Good luck.

Chris,

Sorry to hear about that.

I'd love to help you with your liquidation.  Do you have any CETME rifles in stock?  If so, PM me with details, as I am in the market.

Sorry, no CETME in stock. I have AR's, AK's, SKS, defensive shotguns, and a bunch of handguns to sell. Accessories too. If I can find time to pull it together, I may post a price list here. Thanks.

It is a very tough industry and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Good luck.

Chris,

Do you know how much longer you plan to keep your storefront open?  Also, after closing, will you still be available for firearms transfers?

I have to vacate my space by the end of February. I haven't decided if I will move my FFL to my house. As we speak, I have a friend who is hoping to get his own FFL, and if successful, I'm sure will be happy to do transfers.

Chris, do you have any SAR-1's or other AK's? It would be great if you could post a list of everything you have and what you'd like to get for each item. I can make a special trip up your way, no problem. Thank you...

The last SAR-1 sold today, as did my last VEPR K. I have (2) Arsenal of Bulgaria SLR-101 AK's with green furniture. As I sit here at home I cannot recall the price on them, but I think it is low $500's. I have so much going on now that I may not get a list out for a few more days. Thanks for the support.

Sorry to hear that Chris.  Do let us know what you have left and maybe myself and couple of other gun hoarders might be able to help you out.

I ran down there today and picked up some supplies. Those ak's with the green stocks are nice the price was $529. Mosty milled parts and very smooth. Couldnt help but look. Only 2 left though. Not bad prices on ar's eather. And the ammo is realy reasonable. I got 5oo .22 rounds for around 8.50. Plus all the grips and holsers are on sale.
