| A couple of year's ago I went Elk hunting at Bosque Del Oso, Never saw an Elk, Ran across several good sized flock's though, one numbered about 50 birds. It's just west of Trinidad. The James M. John SWA is suppose to be one of the best in the state for Turkey, it's a little interesting to get to though You have to go through NM and back track up to it. There is a couple up the Platte corridor towards NE. that are alright but, nothing to get real excited about Most of the success stories I've heard have been from down south. |
