Time to turn our attention to the election. Who's your local legislative candidates, and which one is most likely to support gun rights?
With Andy Hill's passing, and replacement by Dhingra, the balance of power has shifted toward the aniti gun side. It would be a shame to beat this initiative, only to lose the legislature and see all these restrictions passed in January. As long as you're voting, pay attention to the legislative race. It's well past time we achieve a solid majority. |

Come see us at the Monroe gun show, sign up for phone banks if you're antisocial, or doorbelling if you happen to like people, and help spread the gospel according to JMB.

Yesterday there was a steady stream of folks checking in at the Monroe table. We are signing up people to make phone calls and go door-to-door. If you've never done any of this, it's easy. Just install the app (i360 call) on your phone and it will step you through the process. It uses wi fi so you don't need to use your phone minutes, and your number does not appear as a caller ID.
Contact me for login credentials, and I'll hook you up with the NRA rep. Lots of people complain the NRA isn't doing enough, and they hold a grudge over I-594. Guess what? That's history. To beat 1693 and flip the legislature we need votes. Thousands of votes. That means getting out there every day and working this issue. Ask yourself if, come next year, you want to say you bitched about it, sat back and waited for the cavalry, or actually did something. |

At the members meeting of the North Whidbey Sportsman's Association (Gun Club) on Sept 12 someone passed out No On I-1639 yard signs and bumper stickers.
They were gone before the meeting was called to order. The membership voted to oppose I-1639 at a previous meeting. |

If you are not interested in the phone bank or door to door options, here are other ideas. Printing out flyers to post in your neighborhood Print your own yard sign Being a point of contact between your local gunshop and TNC who can get you materials. Your job would be to make sure they are always stoked. TNC and the NRA can't keep track of everyone alone. Volunteer at the next gun show Make ten social media posts between now and the election. |

Why would anyone in their right mind vote Democrat? They're voting heavily along party lines for socialist items, and surely if they get a strong majority will continue down a party line. I finally got a few signs. So far I've only seen three in all of the Silverdale - Poulsbo area, and they're the ones I have put up.
The one I put out on Ridgetop here in Silverdale was knocked over sometime between 0845 and 1045. I stuck it back in the ground. Nobody has done anything to the two on my property. |

This is the type of crap that pisses me off. Published in our local fish wrapper (Key Peninsula News) - not available online so I "scanned" it
Did you know: - I-1639 only does four common sense things - no mention of the requirement for state sanctioned training, no mention of licensing requirements, no mention of having to renew and maintain eligibility for said license or the state may elect to seize your lawfuly owned "assault rifles", no mention of banning posession/use by those under 21 while on others' property (possibly including a rifle range), no mention of LEO signoff requirements - the last one being especially troublesome as some LEOs have been known for years to not sign off on Form 1 NFA items - e.g. Pierce Co. Sheriff Pastor downright refuses - I-594 resulted in tens of thousands of private sale background checks - implying that criminals that were going to buy/sell black market firearms somehow weren't able to do so despite the new law - She knows a gun owner who already does these common sense things - which is odd considering I don't know anyone who purposefully put themselves through a training course before buying even a Marlin 60, or obtained a license to own such a firearm - and therefore anyone who disagrees with the gun owner she knows must be the unreasonable minority - Of course she's a "mother and activist" Attached File |

I have noticed several Yes on 1639 signs pop up in the Edmonds area, it would be nice to get a couple of No signs put up as well. In Kingston, Poulsbo, and Hansville as well. That is my AO.

Saw a No on 1639 sign by my sisters in Dash Point, hopefully more pop up over the next few days.

So much that they don't enforce it. I believe there have been 2 prosecutions under 594.
I find it hard to believe that there are zero felons in possession of firearms in this state, but here we are. I guess 594 is 99.9999% effective at denying firearms to felons. |

Quoted: Durkan prosecuted felons with guns and suppressed gun crime dramatically. Then she stopped. I can only speculate she was directed to stop. That was quite a few years ago. View Quote Nevermind the fact that the individual is typically already a felon and the guns are typically stolen, meaning that the individual is already likely well entrenched in a life of crime. The minority status is the only thing that matters. You will have liberals saying that they don't want felons in possession of guns. You will never get them to admit who the primary violators of that law are. You will never get them to admit that those individuals do not care about the law and will continue doing what they're doing, and that the ONLY thing that will stop them is severe penalties and jail time. NRA guys dropped off yard signs at skagit arms and skagit shooting sports today. Bumper stickers at all american armory.

Do the Eastside guys and gals need any materials? I'm headed out to colville next weekend for hunting and I could drop off a bulk supply at a gun store along the way. You all would be responsible for distributing materials to various gun shops tho. I'd just be the delivery guy.
Note: I also need to check with my ride if we have enough room |

I dropped off 6 yard signs at Adventure Sports and 13 signs at Lynnwood Guns. I also dropped of additional literature to those two gunshops plus Kenmore Shooting Range, Precise Shooter, and Outdoor Emporium. Get it while supplies last. One month until election! Home stretch baby! Let's goooo!
