Anyone seeing any chantrelles popping up yet after this rain we had last week? What about any other wild edible mushrooms.

We used to get a ton of them on the Weyerhaeuser lands outside of Longview to the east, but I have heard they have closed a lot of those lands down now a days.

In Capital forest/Olympia my favorite spot in recent years turned up 11 chanterelles this weekend, not much.
I think it needs more rain

Mushroom buyers are in Randle area according to the local paper.
Pickers in the Gifford Pinchot.
Buyers are paying $3/lb for lobster. $5 for chantrelles and $6 for cauliflower.
