Does anyone within 100 miles of Edmonds have a lower receiver jig they would be willing to let me borrow? I'd be happy to provide collateral.

Or if a couple of members want to go in on one and do a build party I'd be happy to contribute. I've got an 80% lower that's just been sitting for almost three years.

When I lived in Nevada we would have a little get together about once a year or so at a machine shop that one of the local guys owned and have 80% parties.  He would give instruction on how to run the mills and machines and we would complete our lowers or whatever machine work we wanted to do.  It was a good time, we all learned something and we just paid for shop time (It has been a few years but I think we all paid about $40 an hour or something like that.)  Is there anyone local that would be interested in doing something like that?

Just get something planned out, saturdays usually work best for me but I can always just drop it off. If I can stay and hang out I can give you guys the rundown on how it works, it does take a while though. It might end up being something everyone gets familiar with, maybe get 1-2 done and then let the others pass it around.

Also I would recommend getting a fresh drill set like the one below, and an extra end mill because it doesnt take much to break the teeth if you push it. I have some end mills we can get started with at least but not sure if I have a good 4" one to get to the bottom.

Skip their drill bit kit and get a bullet bit from walmart. It goes thru 7071 much faster. Milwakee also has a stepped bit that works at depot

5$ cheaper and one extra flute to trash if your going fast.  Ive used them all the way down to one flute.
