Brings back every memory I have of the PNW. What a great show.
I miss the sea food, miss the casinos, miss the beer. I do not miss the hipsters. What a great show. Congrats on the suppressor/sbr victory guys. |

Yep. Pretty accurate with the personality types and insufferable attitudes of most urban/suburban people around Seattle and Portland.
Unfortunately as I've mentioned before, a lot of those hipster types seem to be recent imports to this area in the past 20 years or so. Grew up here, it was a much cooler place before that. At least Portlandia pokes fun at all those types and nails it spot-on... Unfortunately many of the hipsters the show pokes fun at are too stuck up to enjoy the self-aware humor that PNW hipster legend Carrie Brownstein brings to the show. Hey, can you tell I'm tired of living here? |
