Was thinking of transferring an AR or two to relative in Washington state. Any unusual things prohibited about normal AR and high capacity mags?

Nothing yet....No SBRs and no FA is about it.

I live 5 miles from sultan, your good to go as long as its not an SBR or FA

i believe the laws are basically the same across the state. Im only about 10-15 miles from sultan and in the same county.

They might get charged Wa state use tax on the value of the weapons.

Hopefully someone who knows more about it can chime in.
