blunt tip so I can't stab myself, serrated so I don't slice the ever loving shit out of myself AND haven't sharpened it in over 5 years of daily use offshore, and now drilling.  The steel in the blade and liner lock don't rust, even after years of salt water and outside storage, the springs seem to be fine as well.

I have been impressed with this groovy little thing I picked up at Wallyworld for $25. The hole in the handle is suprisingly handy. It doesn't have the smoothest action in the world but it's good enough considering the cost.

I lose knifes way more often than I break them, and in the last 49 years I have never once been in a knife fight. My pocket knifes are simply tools. ( I do carry a firearm nowadays)

EDIT: The Amazon knife has no serrations... different from mine.

I've been carrying the SOG Aegis for a few years as a GP knife. Had to tighten the main screw up once, and sharpen a few times, but it's treated me very well.
