I have until tuesday to make a decision in regards to switching from active to the NG.

There's a slot for 68W in Seattle that will re-train, but the closest 11B is in Wenatchee (too far for me).

I'm also looking at trying out for 19th Group.

Where's 161Infantry when I need him?

after going from active to guard, in retrospect i would've rather stayed active. ive been out for two years now.
if you were a hardcore 11b while in, 19th group is prolly the only way to go.

it took me a year and a half of yelling at nasty girls till i finally said to myself "stfu, you're a nasty girl too"

even better, go contract

YMMV

Where do you live?  A Co 1/161 is in Kent.

Ah ok.  No matter what it's a drive.  It's why I'd changed my MOS from 11B to 12B when I moved to WA.  Driving from Bellingham to Kent seemed a bit long, and it irked me that I'd have to do a stupid MOSQ to be requalled as an 11M.  Only a couple days would have been Bradley specific and the rest would have just annoyed me since I was already an 11B, both active and guard.
