360-902-8111 is the number for the hunter education office. Give them a call and verify the fact that you have the correct website. I know hunter ed is available online.

I believe that is the brand new website. Edit: Confirmed that is the new site. You get linked to it from the WA Dept or fish and wildlife.
My friend took the online course through the old one.

This is how I took my course. Signed up for a "range evaluation" and should be receiving my certificate any day now. Much better than sitting in a classroom for a few hours every night for a week. Took the thing in my pj's in the middle of the night.
