I looked and got a value of about 15 cents, thats for a plain 1911 without any marks of average quality (and I checked with a glass front and back for any)

It'd be cool to use as a grip inlay though

So is anyone producing an affordable (eg. < $1k) and shootable anniversary 1911 this year? Not some fancy gold plated and engraved thing.

All the Colt's that I've seen so far this year have "100 Years of Service" on the slide. They can be had for under $1000.

Wheat pennies.

They made pennies out of wheat? And then like, ate them later?
