It's been months.
Like a dummy, I didn't write down the date I sent it in. I did get a confirmation letter about three months after I sent it in. After that, I lost track of time. BUT IT DID COME IN TODAY'S MAIL - YEAHHHHHHH! My UPIN from the F.B.I.

Having one is not a guarantee of not getting delayed for the purchase of a handgun but will should throw the odds in my court.
Background: I've had my CWP, then they changed it to CPL for almost thirty years with never a problem. Then BAM! Seemed like every other time I would get delayed. A short time after I got fed up with everything and decided to get my own UPIN, I was refinancing my place. Long story short, someone was on my credit report that had a $500 judgment on them from the State of Washington. It wasn't me. I have a feeling the two were somehow tied together.
