Anyone know where to get this stuff locally?

http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/pid=6525/Product/LUBRIPLATE_130_A_MIL__SPEC__GREASE

Or is there something else that's mil-spec or higher quality I could use in substitute?

Don't have Spanky on ignore... yet...  LOL

And thanks.  I didn't think to look up their actual website.  I was just curious if any of the LGS kept it in stock.  That link does me one better.

Thanks Gents.

Naw. This stuff works well.

If you want to order it, I can get the 14oz cans for $8.95 from Brownells. I was planning on making an order for stuff in the next week or so.

My Dad gave me a Lubriplate 44gal barrel (cleaned out) to use as a clothes hamper back in the day.

It was pretty fucking cool.

Wheel bearing grease... Form what I have read it seems the USMC match team used wheel bearing grease. I would assume they could get any type of grease they wanted. I personally use Tetra gun grease...

I also use Tetra on my Garands, or whatever else.

Good stuff.
