Oh my, that is some funny shit. But really why the hell does anyone care, the gays are already here and they have been for years. Sure there will be a few that will childish flaunt their shit just to get back for their years of "oppression" but there is not going to be a huge influx of limp wrist fairy's dancing through the Corp buttfucking unsuspecting Marines. When the vast majority eat the minority, it is far less disruptive to unit cohesiveness then when the majority are duty bound (legally required) to eat their fellow majority for hurting the minorities feelings. The fact that our society acts as though it has the right to not be offended is bad enough, but forcing management to punish those who hurt others "feelings" is petty, micromanaging, wasteful, and further debilitating. |

Sadly, they aren't able to use condoms and there aren't many clothes to strip off due to piss poor training and equiptment. |

Clearly, in light of some of the comments made recently about some serious grab-ass among men in tight quarters that fight together, there is something that bothers many people about something done in play that is seen as utterly sickening when the possibility of it meaning more than play. Even stranger when the real possibility of serving with homosexuals before the repeal of DADT has existed for a long, long time. I have trouble forming a truly based in fact opinion with something I have no experience with. I think Matt45 made of the comments I refered to, might be wrong. So since we are talking about male homosexuality, has anyone ever seen anyone, especially men, engaging in sex with each other while bullets are flying or bombs or dropping in the immediate vicinity? |

Asking people to forget their sexuality is like asking people to quit seeing life through the eyes of their religion/worldview, t'ain't even possible for most. It's not that the military is full of old guys (hint: the majority of military members have served for < 6 years), it's that the military is made of humans with their unpredictable, organic, chemical based brains. Asking people to simply forget they are sexual beings would be like expecting you to have no emotion or fear when someone veers into your lane beside you when you're on your motorcycle. Not only is forgetting their sexuality or worldview something MOST will never be able to do, it's also more destructive than harmful to the few people who do manage to abandon all "preconceived" filters.  .
