You only have one?
You should see my list... starts off with something like "Too many Fucking Liberal Democrats" and winds down with "I can't park my 1 ton crew cab in those fucking California parking stalls without scraping off the mirrors on those faggot SmartForTwo cars... " Don't call me bitter... I just hate how the fruit loops ruined a good place... We just had a record snow fall for November @ approx 26".... Considering what you're dealing with.. I'm in heaven. Keep the fuckers over there.. Better yet, send them back to Tijuana, Shanghai or the Rainbow Village (San Fran) I hear ya... Hang in there... |
I am down to only being onsite in Bellevue 2 days a week, but its almost 4 hours one way to get there. Its now to the point where it takes considerably longer to go the 20 miles from the ferry to work than the 70 miles from home to the ferry.
For the other 3 days, its PJ's, bunny slippers and a 20 foot wander to the 'office'. |

Friday I have a "finish NLT 08" in Bellevue then have to make the 0830 Bremerton ferry and get to Silverdale and finish 2 jobs before 1100. Those two are "no service 11-1400". Then I have a NET 1600 back in Seattle. Tomorrow is no better. But once these corporate zero bills are done then I'm done for the month.

I used to commute Seattle -> Redmond and back every day, and it really is the commute from hell. During the Snowpacalypse two years ago, it once took me 2.5 hours to drive home... a trip that takes 20 minutes on a Saturday morning. My new job as a rent-a-cop is gonna be 2-10 PM, Tuesday/Wednesday off. I love the fact I won't have to sweat bullets over traffic, despite the paltry pay, haha

Fuck that noise. And here I get all irritated with all the Californians that live in Vancouver and commute to Portalnd The last couple weeks have been the commutes from HELL because it rains so rarely in Washington that they should just call it a fucking holiday and stay home. I haven't figured out how or why 60mph is so hard to do in the drizzle
Just like during the sleet last week.. it was easy to spot the Californicans by the fact they were doing 35 on the highway with CHAINS on and there wasn't even any snow sticking

The project captured in photos is at least one more day behind schedule. As I passed by this morning, about 0730, two police cars were looking at, talking, and taking pictures of the crews conex storage boxes which were opened up. There was no work goin on the entire stretch of the project (usually pretty busy by that time of day). Wonder how bad they got it. the site where the conex's are has access to the highway, coulda rolled in with a big van, truck or multiples, looked like you owned the place, and pulled right back on the highway for your getaway. Or this could be something entirely different
