I'm not sure where this guy got my info from, but I've been receiving calls & emails from headhunters over the last few days so someone sold my resume it looks like.

Anyway, usually after I tell these guys that I'm not looking for work at the moment, and am no longer in the desktop support business; they ask if I know anyone who is, so I thought I'd pass this on.

Subject: Seattle desktop project

Good morning AudiDat,
I have a client here in Seattle and they are looking to bring in a tech starting next week.  What they are looking for is tech onsite to help with day to day operations starting at 2pm and then work until 6pm (4 hours each day) for 2-3 weeks.

They have a tech that is going on vacation I believe is the case and you would assist and make some extra cash help them out from the 11ths to the 29th.

Anyway I was looking over your résumé and I wanted to see what your status is for the next few weeks?  They are paying $18.00 an hour and again we are looking to be there for those days so that’s about 60+ hours.

Let me know your thoughts and we can take the next step.

Thanks!

-Keith-

I get the same kind of emails from people looking for SQL Server pros... I get enough of them in the same format that I write them off as spam.

EDIT: Re-reading your post (and taking an extra sip of coffee) yours seems a bit more legit.
