not to get too into the details here, but a friend is having trouble with her "disabled" military hubby...walked out on her & their 2 young kids. she paid the $1500 bucks for a DIY divorce, yet he refuses to sign the papers so he can continue to collect the extra $1000 a month for being married with a couple young 'uns.
could someone with some good knowledge of the military email me for her number & give her some suggestions as to handle this...or anyone wanna go fuck with a disabled servicemember no selling cars in marysville, email me & I can tell you where he's working
best is email jeffro.harris at the verizon net |

She could have goten divorced cheeper than that.
WA is a no fault state. She dose NOT need him to sighn, agree or even show up to get divorced. She will have to go to the court house, and file, then wait the manditory 3 months, have a child care plan (again with or with out his in-put), child suport is pre-deturmined. Poof guy in a robe + gavel = divorced. |

Of course kids make it a bit different I hear. 90 days is all it takes from the date the papers are filed with the court. ETA: I'm a disabled vet, wanna come fuck with me? Seriously, your friend is your friend. Her domestic matters belong to her. I suggest you leave them there unless you have no other choice. |

Jeffro- Straighten this shit around, and simply present the facts. Your perception, or your friends emotionally charged difficulty with this guys doesn't necessarily give you license to run him down . Sure, based on what you told me on the phone, he sounds like he *might* be a turd. For any man to not do the right, honorable and decent thing is, in my estimation, makes him out to be the lowest form of whale shit in the world, but, really....I can understand helpin' out a friend, leave that other shit alone. Like I mentioned, just stick with the facts. Here's something I've been chewin' on..... Pretty much everyone in the thread is clammering about the chain of command....what if he's out? I have nothing specific to point to, but....since the VA is the .GOV, can't a judge file an order for garnishment and/or set some protective orders in place to ensure the children get the financial support the mother needs for their care? Pre-emptive of a divorce if necessarry? I dunno...just spitballin' this one. |

No parenting plan spelling out any kind of support then no one is going to be able to after his wages and such...........especially just based on HER side of the story. Takes a court order to do that.
If the guy is being a shit stain then she needs to get the courts involved to get the funds........ As a total outsider I will throw this in though........there are always more sides to a story then just one..............to advocate going after someone based on a one sideed story and even throwing out his disabled status is pretty irresponsiable and just plain childish...... I won't even go into you putting his disabled status in qoutes as if does not mean shit.......................... |

anyone wanna go fuck with a disabled servicemember Not based on third party info. Besides, we bow down before them. Very classy comment there. Very.
Do we or do we not generally hold our servicemembers in high esteem? I submit that we do. Moreso a disabled vet. Clearly I wasn't the only one to address that in this thread. |

or anyone wanna go fuck with a disabled servicemember no selling cars in marysville, email me & I can tell you where he's working Sorry, but disabled, veteran, or none of the above, nothing warrants visiting someone at their work place to "fuck with them", ESPECIALLY if you don't know them. Anyone on this board that would do that to anyone (vet or not) because of a friend of an acquaintance (internet friend) would deserve what they get for involving themselves. |

perhaps the joke of messing with him wasn't a good idea..even if it is all true, it's not worth getting in legal trouble to mess with him.
and yes, I do appreciate what those that have served/are serving are putting on the line, again, for the joke, I apologize for offending everyone..I'll go crawl back into my hole J |

We need more facts.
Disabled military/veteran can mean many things. Is he on the Temporary Disability Retirement List (TDRL)? Then that's easy, contact his chain of command. Is he a true retired disabled veteran on the Permanent Disability Retired List (PDRL) (didn't put in 20 years)? Then a lawyer needs to be contacted. Is he a retired veteran receiving disability pay? Then a lawyer needs to be contacted. Something smells trolly-fishy about this post.... |

Something smells trolly-fishy about this post.... from what I understand, he was discharged due to an injury..not going to guess as to the extent of said injury or where it was recieved..he's getting his $500 a month disability payments plus he's getting an additional 1500.00 for the wife & 2 kids....any support will have to be split as he's already the father of another child by someone not his spouse....and that's as far as I have found out thus far |
