Make sure you have a well reasoned, and preferably positive, reason for getting out... like someone else said, not because the Army was/is full of idiots... don't want to get shot at anymore is probably good enough, unless the position you are going for has that potential... make sure you have done your homework on whatever the job is, and if you can get any G2 on the specific department it is in it wouldn't hurt... many initial interviews are to asses behavioral traits as well as technical qualifications, sometimes more so... the fact that you got the interview probably means that, on paper at least, you are qualified for the job... the interview will flush out if you were BSing on the app, and if you have the other traits they are screening for.
Don't tell her she sounds hot, unless you have already blown the interview, and she is in fact hot...

| Thanks for the info. I know not to tell them that the army is full of retards since thats who I would be working for. I have a good answer to the "why did you get out of the Army" question, and feel confident about the job related questions. Its the personal questions and "tell me about yourself" ones that I'm worried about. Those and the "give me an example of..." questions. |
