... so my buddy asked me to get off my dead ass and meet him for some informal range time. I tried to wear out a 3/4" Proto ratchet & 1 1/8" socket Wed. and Thurs. at work and have had a STIFF! neck since. So I figuered I'd avoid the Hi-powered stuff and mount that cheapy Bushnell scope on my 10/22 and dial it in. I also had a fugly Romy AK build that needed test fired. (More on this later in EE, I'm selling it as I want shed of  the fuckin' ugly bastard.)
First clue I had that it would all be a bust was when I stapled my left boogar picker with the extra long staples in the Stanley for the targets.
The second clue was when my buddy was spotting me and said " Well, the last one was 4 " right and the one before was 3" left" (This was at 25 yds "dialing it in on paper" distance). Closer inspection showed my new Millet Angle-Loc rings were not locked and the rear one had come loose.
The saving grace was the stranger who let me fire his Accu-Triggered Savage .17HMR with Star Wars scope. I pinged the rotating 2" steel plate target at 100 yds. with all but 2 rds. in the mag.. His buddy was a newbie who needed to be told by me to stand behind the firing line when he got in front and off to the side of my muzzle to shoot his handgun (Sig .45 something or other).
