A CRKT M16, but the older one w/o the LAWKS safety. EE/Google/Ebay no joy. Used is fine. Anyone seen one at a store?

I don't know what that knife is, but that place you used to work at carries that brand IIRC. Might be worth a call to Andy.

Big 5 is carrying CRKT. Don't go by their weekly flyer. Stop in ince a week and see what is actually on sale. I scored this week on some really nice K-Bars
for 12.99 a pop.

I have not seen the KBar Marine Combat fighter for 12.99 if that's what your thinking. I got a couple of KBar limited edition half serrate folders for 12.99.
But they do have the CRKT folders on sale like the one in the pic above often.

Yeah, hired me for the opening, I covered counter sales, floor and shipping. Then his FIL decided that he could do that work and since he had put up some $ for the storefront I was out of a job. This, after I had passed up a good job to stick with ECG. Did it over the phone too.

Same story with the Yelm Aerie and Pacific Powder, put off hiring on at PP to help the Aerie, PP got tired of waiting then the Aerie decided to go to volunteer bartenders.

I'm a little more mercenary now.

But, if he has them in stock, cheap, non LAWKSd, then I might have to get one.

I'm sure I've met you before if you worked at ECG.  If you need someone local to check that out I could swing by ECG today and pick one up/scope it out.

I was one of those wierd customers who came in, said "Hi", bought a gun and then left, all in about a 10 minute time span while some slack jawed yocal yammered on about how the local blacktail deer required nothing less than a .300 H&H Mag to take down.

I wasn't really a "yocal"

Kidding, and I've logged a few of those visits in myself.

Get in. Get out. "Listen to this load of bullshit I just heard!".

Why is it that every other forum I visit auto-converts URLs into hyperlinks, but this one leaves them as plain text?

personally, I would not carry a ‘line-locker’ without the LAWKS® Safety (but that’s just my opinion of "line-lockers") as that was the main selling point to me when I read a few product reviews on them, before I picked up my first Columbia River® CRKT™ M16 nearly five years ago; I also carry the CRKT M16®-14ZSF Special Forces w/ auto LAWKS® system and a Falcon model.

Way to ruin a reason to go to the gun shop.
