WEST CREEK, NJ 08092––––Anyone do any business with this gentleman on Gunbroker?
|
| I emailed the guy 2 days before the auction ended in the event, I explained, I won..he would have the FFL information. FFL provider confirmed that it was sent for me. Since then..I've emailed the guy about 8 times requesting payment information and then just to confirm he received the FFL. BId ended on the 7th...today being the twelth you would think he's had enough time to get back to me...nothing. You think maybe he's pissed I get it for $650? I'm trying to be patient but I'm not good with people who fuck off responsibility or commitment. |
| Shoulda bought locally....theres a 454 with 120 rounds in the paper for 800 and a guy is running two ruger redhawks for 800...I called him to see if this price was each and he said that it was for both of them..his wife is hosing him in his divorce and he needs money..says they are about 98%...her I am with my money tied up in this......sucks. |

Damn straight.
I don't think I'll ever buy something like a gun or a car online.........things like that, I like to check them out personally first, and know WHEN and HOW I'm getting it. How's the money tied up, you just setting it aside waiting for the deal to go through, or already did the pay pal thing? |

UPDATE.....Just received this today.......I offered to pay 500 hundred plus shipping...guess they aren't open to it! However, they seem to be willing to admit the mistake...that's admirable.....Its been NINE days though...WHAT SAY YOU????????????????? Buy it or move on?
Mike, I am very sorry for all the confusion, the owner of the store has been away on a hunting trip and there was miscommunication on who was to be taking care of the Gun Broker site. We have sold 200+ guns on this site and the normal process which takes place is the purchaser has his FFL faxed to us (we did receive yours, which I found in a pile of papers someone put on a table) then typically the purchaser will send us a money order (all the information is on the web site) or call us with credit card information. Our phone number is also on the site. I have contacted Tom, the owner, and he said that your $650 bid plus the $30 shipping is what we will take, if you choose not to purchase the gun I fully understand. Please call the store at 609-296-3192 if you want to pay with credit/debit card. If you want to use debit you will need to give us your pin number. Again, I am sorry for the delay, and am not making excuses, just trying to explain the situation. Thank you, Patti |
