I've seen a few LCR pictures and noticed a few Polaris and Bombardier ATV's. My 3 brands I'm considering are : Yamaha Grizzly, Arctic Cat and Polaris and I'm considering used as it will be sitting in Worley Idaho for the Winter and only used on a few hunting trips in the fall. Primarily used to run stuff down to the dock and get around our community out in Idaha. I'd like to pull a small utility trailer as well.
Thanks,
Geoff

I recommend you don't do this:

Get at least a 500 and I would rule out the Arctic Cat. They have the most ground clearance ––-this means it will tip over easier. Most people with other brands that have ridden Arctic Cats seem to think the suspension is not what it could be. . In deep mud and mud racing the AC is the one the mud racers like. This is general info and quad owners  are usually loyal to their brand.

You can't go wrong with any of the big name quads.

Hope it's healing up good, tho - they leaving that in, or do you get it taken out later? (Mine are all still in - 9.5 years after)

And on topic - I'm interested in recommendations, too.  Someday I will have enough $$$ to get myself one

Suzuki Eiger 400 4x4.

I, unfortunately, recently sold mine. There is nothing that quad will not do. It is a mid size. So it is not too big to fit down small trails, but it is big enough to get the job done. I took mine everywhere. Only got stuck when I was doing stupid stuff. Pulled everything from other quads to vehicles out of being stuck. In my opinion, for the money they are one of the best quads out there.

I have an Artic cat 400 and I love it. it has the independant 4 wheel suspension along with the "reese" tow hitch.
it has plastic armor (hlps sheild the weeds mostly) around the drive train and suspension arms. good on gas.
the 700 also comes in desiel i think.

Best investment i made.
