This place is in Bellvue, however you spell it.
Anyway I am looking at the women's class for a friend of mine and wondering what you all think of them? |
| I don't know which class your looking at but regardless, I took a friend of mine to the basic handgun safety course a while back. It was at the Issaquah Police Dept and was pretty good. The instructors were all quite friendly and understanding of those in the class that had never touched a pistol before. The trainning was pretty good but I was a little dissapointed in the variety of guns that they had available to shoot. It wasn't bad, I was just hoping for more I guess. It's a pretty good class though in my opinion and was worth the money spent. |

I have taken multiple rifle, pistol, knife, shotgun, armor courses. I enjoyed every class. I keep meaning to get over there for some more pistol and shotgun but do not get around to it. Especially with the price of ammo now.
Regardless they are great. I highly recommend them. All the instructors I have worked with have been really friendly and very good at what they do. |

I would highly recogmend training with InSights Training Center ... call Stephanie Kerns (InSights admin.) with any questions on womens handgun classes, she can square you away. The InSights crew know their stuff...most have military/Leo backround and are WSCJTC certified. I'll be attending their 3-day Intermediate Rifle Class next week out in Ravensdale...we will be shooting from CQB contact distance to 600yds. ... should be a great class ! |

i took the 2 day beginning handgun (or was it a 3 day) class several years ago. It was evenly mixed between male/female with about 8 persons in the class.
It covered all the basic and even cleaning of a pistol. They had several different handguns to use back then. A Beretta 92 w/.22 conversion kit, .357 Magnum, .38 Special, and I think a Glock. It was perfect for a beginner male or female. |
