| i hate hageling with the indians where's the best deal on fireworks in the tacoma/graham/spanaway/eatonville area? Thanks! |
| I just have a hard time finding the BIG boom sticks... At the reservation last year I tried to "buy" some and they had some going off in the background. I asked for some and the guy at the counter went into a robot mode and started to state the laws and bla bla bla... Then I bribed him and he still denied having any... Anyone know how to barter for those? |

I bet he had a dream of all your future posts on Arfcom and said "Oh shit this mother fucker's crazy, every hide the shit" |

Yep. I haven't renewed my permit for the last two years... so, no more fireworks for me. If you are going to go to the warehouse, you'll need to spend a few grand to make them not question you. If they think you're buying for yourself, you are out the door. Reservation land, reservation rules. Some of the guys I used to buy for would sink a grand at a time, so it made it look like I might actually have been buying for my own fireworks stand, but since they stopped buying I stopped renewing. |

The best time I've found to buy fireworks is on the evening of the 4th. Right when they start sipping on the fire water and they're happy to make deals.
As for M-80's, the easiest and cheapest way is make your own. Not that I endorse that illegal behavior, but it's the truth. Not like it's hard anyways. |

There is one shop on 54th just past Milgard Windows. It’s called Reservation outpost.
Here is the address. 321 54th Ave E Fife, WA 98424-271 Yes, the address is also a convenience store, but they operate a fireworks stand during fireworks season. They have always been fair with me. Their prices are generally “set,” but the price many times are marked much lower than all the other stands around (at least in my experience). Plus the more you spend, the lower the price. The have a pretty big selection from all the major brands. ETA: I spent my summers while in college working in a fireworks warehouse, so I know about markups. |

Which reservation can I find RGM-84 Harpoon missiles, Mk 48 ADCAP torpedoes, RIM-7 Sea Sparrows, Exocet missiles, AT-4s and a Titan III? There was a guy selling real C-4 filled tennis balls on the Nisqually Res when I was in high school. I think he ended up getting into some trouble though. Rumor had it he also have real grenades for $100 a piece. I can not imagine how he got caught though, I was on the reservation for 30 minutes and I knew what he had. This was in the height of all the stories about the Army not being able to account for all sort of ordnance and weapons. |

I think I've been there actually, the guy who runs it keeps a 12ga. pistol gripped pump up in the back if it's the one I'm thinking of. Very friendly. |

So is that why your screen name is what it is? ![]() Took the name from 29 Palms, CA, I was stuck there for 3 years. I remember in high school going shopping on the Nisqually Res, I looked around a guys stand and asked if he had anything bigger. Guy looked me up and down, then said, "ok white boy, you want to lose a hand or an arm?" I told him arm, and he sent me to see "that guy" in the black hat named Joe. Joe had all sorts of crazy shit behind the seat of his truck. Joe must have had a couple dozen of the special tennis balls, but he wanted $50 each. I ended up with a bunch of the WDFW "seal bombs" the state was using to chase seals away from the salmon ladders with. |

Back in high-school we went to the Muckelshoot res for M-80's after about an hour of asking we finally found the guy - we were let out back to a singlewide and let in. M-80's-a-plenty as well as ash cans, tennis balls, meth and weed. Nice collection of pistols and sawed off shotguns laying about as well, right next to the half-empty JD bottle. We got out M-80's and got the hell out of there. It was a pretty eye-opening experience for a bunch of kids.
I have a .45 cal black powder cannon and am looking to upgrade to something that can rattle the neighborhood windows a bit more...... |
