| My boss has a bunch of marmots who are living and digging under the foundation of the barn and outbuildings. Do you need a small game license to shoot barnyard pests, especially if they are protected? I believe marmots are protected. Do they need to be trapped and relocated, or can we shoot them? I am not going to be able to make it to the next hunter safety course in kittitas because I'll be in mazama, working on my wilderness first responder... |

ETA: Looks like there is no hunting of Marmots.. looks like it falls under the trapping category. It's not trapping season until November.. You're going to need to call someone... http://wdfw.wa.gov/wlm/game/trapping/index.htm |

Quoted: NoGO! Your APERS is UNSAT. Not Fused, No Camo. Go back, retrain, you have 1 hour to retest at this station. ![]() And if I remember correctly (it's been a while), the wire should be staked down 4 or so feet away (make an L with your arms). Not wraped around the legs. ETA: Given that the blasting cap isn't even inserted, I guess it doesn't really matter. |

How about a bottle of CO2 from the welding supply store, run a hose down the hole (s) 3-5 feet.
Back fill holes. Turn on CO2 at say 30 cubic feet/ hour. Pull out hose after 6 hour (approx). We will disavow any and all knowledge of this, besides they're going to be buried. Repeat on other holes as nessecary. CO2 should be cheaper than C25 (25% CO2/ 75% Argon) or straight Argon. They should have differnt weight cylinders of it also. (rental) ETA: Car, exhaust pipe, 2" dia hose x lenght in feet, hose clamp,...................... you can see where this might lead? |
