I spent it hiking, climbing, snowshoeing, sledding, snowball fighting, sailing paper boats over umptaneum falls, and eating.
How was your weekend? |

Put another axle on my backup generator for the house. Had it for almost 20 years. Always had to "wheelbarrow" it around. Major PIA. And, I finally hooked up a battery to it. The electric starter works. Never tried it before. Put a new roof on my storage building. I'm not good at roofing, it took waaaaay too long. Cleared several little back yard projects off the list. Fiddled with the generator on the rv, to no avail. Had long, leisurely breakfast and coffee with Mommity....twice! And, we watched "Anne of Green Gables" together. Very nice. The sunshine was most welcome If it stays nice today, I'll go to work with the top down on the Mulletmobile. |

It was a nice weekend! Didn't get nearly as much done as I would have liked but it was pretty laid back.
Went to the Monroe funshow on Saturday, it was not so fun. It was packed as usual and there was not a lot there for us. Didn't do much of anything for the rest of the day after going to Sam's, Wade's and West Coast Armory. Sunday, got stuff done around the house, again not as much as I would have liked. Enjoyed the sunshine though, it was beautiful and long overdue! |

Woke up, ate some eggs and bacon, drank a beer and laid down for an hour or so...
Thought about going out to the gun show at the fairgrounds, drank a beer, let the dog outside... Cleaned up the backyard as much as I could without going to the dump...went to the store for more beer... Let the dog back in, read some of a book and drank a beer... Woke back up and reheated some pizza, drank a beer and watched some Dexter for about an hour or so... Sat around outside...woke up to find the dog spilled my beer on my book and licked up all of the rest...we both took a nap... Perfect weekend! |

That's exactly what and how it was. We were there for all of maybe 20 min before saying to hell with it and leaving. Too many damn people and not enough of the stuff we wanted to buy! It was annoying more than anything..and a waste of good relaxing beer drinking time! |
| I remember the old days...not having to stand in line, haggle with them over price, make a couple of trades and come out with everything you wanted and not flat broke. the only reason I almost when out there is to see how I could get for 110 rounds of .380. I talk to a guy over in Florida and he said there were dealers with .380 ranging from $70-130 a box...I want to meet these people that will pay this much for such a shity caliber...With the weather being so nice the last thing I wanted to do was drive in a car to walk around in a building... |
