Well, I had a GREAT interview yesterday with a company that has a position for a Maintenance Suoervisor. The wage is just exactly what I am looking for and it is close to home.
Interview was great.......blew her socks off actually! She even told me that I interview really well and i am very confident and have a great resume and I had an answer for all her questions without pause....she said she was impressed. At the conclusion, she asked if I could wait a minute......she came back in and handed me a card with a name on it and I asked if I could come back in the next day (today) and interview with the Portfolio manager.......SWEET! Of course i said yes LOL..... Daughter took me out last night and helped me pkick out a new shirt tie and slacks as I only have one set of interview worthy clothes and she did not think I should wear the same outfit to the 2nd interview....HA!! So, I am all dressed up in me new duds......feeling good.....smile on my face, well rested and ready to go in and win round two!! Job would start as soon as they find the right person......I convinced the HR type I am the best canidate, now to convince this woman today!! 11am I will be at the table.............. |
Well.....just rooled back home and left a sockless Portfolio Manager behind.......... 
She too was impressed and told me as much. She has one other person to meet with today and then they will be making thier choice.......BUT, she said "I believe you would be a perfect match". So, we shall see.........but I am really confident............... Thanks for all the support people................. Oh.....I spell checked my resume 3 times then had the wife edit it......all was well........it is my damn tyoping skills that suck! |

Now that you have a real job again, You can get yourself a proper base station to go with your antenna. Yaesu 7800, or 8800 should do you just fine. the 25 amp switching power supply should be more then enough for what you will need. DONT BE CHEAP ASS LIKE ANDY!!!

Everytime I see him! I hope you get it! btw- QTH has some decent prices on 8700 and 8800s. I'm just too chicken to pull the trigger. (actually, the wife says no) |

| Good today is tuesday id stop on in all informal like monday or tuesday too check up on the interview sounds like you are destined too be employed soon. Finding work is 10x harder than keeping a job I am glad i seem too be steady at my post looking for work sucks. |
