| Sooooo, can you do both? You can buy your lower/upper or whatever you want... IF, and a big if... I go to LCR, I would be willing to PIF a couple handfuls of .223 your way... I do have 2,500 rounds after all... Maybe a few others can pitch in? I am still not sure if I am going and probably won't know until Thursday... |

A few things... Just my humble opinion. Take it for what it is... 1) You should not be hiding it from your soon to be wife. If YOU have the money, you should buy it. I'm sure she has a hobby or vices, so you should be allowed as well. My wife scrapbooks (and loves clothes), I think she has as much money tied up in PAPER, as I do ammo, but she spend HER money for that, not OURS, same that I do with my gun purchases. 2) LCR is a tank of gas (maybe 2 or maybe less than 1 depending on where you live. You don't even have to shoot to go. Meet the gang, hang out, hell, blast about $4 of .22lr if that's all you can shoot. No reason you can't do both! 3) If you are having to check your credit card balance to see if you have "room" you probably shouldn't be buying an upper/lower combo. Put that money toward your credit card balance. |

I value the opinion of those better traveled than me so thanks, that being said 1 Its only hiding in the sence that I just had this great idea and we will be having the "didnt you just finish a rifle" conversation. She does have hobbies and they are oddly enough: scrapbooking and nordstroms, but as a rule, WE WORK TO PAY OUR BILLS AND SUPPORT OUR LIFE TOGETHER her paper was bought with our money and so was my rifle. Not trying to dissagree with ya but in my opinion mes and Is are the stuff divorces are made of. 2 you are right 3 we pay off our credit cards every month and my job is not in any sort of jeopardy but weddings are a financial bitch if you come from these families so its really a matter of where does xtra $ go and I will feel genuinly guilty(also very happy knowing this is the last one )

The ship has sailed for most of us... LOL, buying ammo at today's prices seems like a damn travesty when looking back in time only two years. I picked up enough components to load 2K rounds... but never have the time to get my single stage fired up these days, hehe |
