3 simple questions
1 What greatness lies in the members only area 2 what all was given away too arfcomers by the sight in 2008 3and are there member only group buys? Sell me on the team membership tell me what makes it worth the $$ other than supporting the sight ill probly join for that reason alone just nudge me . |

1. Well other than eye candy...a team only discussion forum.
2. Never paid much attention to the giveaways, but I think every thing from hats to a AR15 and everything inbetween 3. Not to sure about this one, however I think there was a guy helping you get $300 lifetime NRA memberships in the teamforum. Another thing that really comes in handy is the 3 month back search and the archive searh. I use these both like crazy when looking for info on things. Honestly I finaly ponied up for the team membership when I realized that I gained so much from the site including knowledge of the firearms I love and more importantly some great friends here in the WAHTF, which to be honest is more like a disfuctional family  .

Use of the ARFCOM Yugo once a week saves me $40 in gas a month (Costs me $300 in maintenance  )ED Sr sends nekkid pics of himself (this part actually sucks, if you buy a membership, change your email addy) Goatboy has hacked my computer 106 times. I thought the sound I was hearing was the money I could be saving with Geico, turned out to be gremlins. There are other things, but I'm starting to get depressed, I need to go lie down. |

Search is the big useful feature. And a nifty avatar.
Team forums generally suck. More whiny than WAHTF on most days. Some say it supports the site. But I question how much $$ it really takes to keep this thing running. Oh, right. They're running it on windows...

The archive is a great perk and full of info. I'm a member because this site provides a wonderful value to me and I want to support it. This. also, I have seen decent sites disapear, and don't want this to be the next. The wealth of knowledge and fellowship (among other things)are totally worth it. and when you join, you get mailed a package of all the best shooting sites in the area.

Stick around for a while, use the site. See if it's a benefit to you. If it is, pay it back, spend the measely $24 bucks. I save quite a bit of money here, mostly by way of EE deals, and crosstrading with members here in the WAHTF. BTW-There's quite a few folks that simply won't do deals with non-members. It's eqivilated with "member-verification" the fact you're willing to spend the bread, then you're most likely not a DU troll or scammer. |
