Depends what they did. If it's a creepy old dude fondling young children he should be taken out back and shot. If it's an 18 year old kid who had consensual sex with his 16 year old girlfriend then he certainly shouldn't be castrated or micro chipped. The term 'Sex Offender" is painted with a broad brush. ETA: If it's a hot blonde teacher that sleeps with her male students, that's not fair because it wasn't an option when I was in school.

While I am all for extreme measures to prevent a re-offense from a child molester/rapist. A GPS chip doesn't seem all that effective. Yeah, keeping a child molester away from a school or daycare is obvious, but their are kids in many other places. I would guess that most child molesters' victims are someone who was known. I don't think this is going to deter a sick/F'ed-up person at all. Death or removal of arms seems more effective to me. |

Even this is kinda vague... Based on this my earlier "go after the level 3s" makes it sound as if I'm ok with some scumbag only touching a kid once and beign a level 2... No NO NO... I'm all about some hunting in the burbs for these fuckers, I'll even wear an Elmer Fudd hat. What I really don't get though is WHY someone is allowed to live if they are considered a LEVEL III and likely to do it again... WTF is this filth doing loose and why isn't he/she dead already? BUT it's the fact that some of the poor shmucks you see with their image posted at the local PDs "Sex Offender" are guilty of nothing more than trying to pay for head, or of being 19-20 or whatever and sleeping with a 17 year old with consent. It's these fools that while they may be painfully dumb and got caught, they aren't really out there doing harm. I think they get grouped in with the actual animals out there unfairly. |
