my wife works as a ff/emt and has been telling me some funny stories about the calls they get...now with what you do you get to hear alot more of the funny/stupid ones....
please share a few with us...

I've got one! I was driving in OKC, minding my own business one day, when I came to a stop light that had just turned yellow, I would not have made it so I had to stop quickly. Well, some ass was tail gating me and almost rear ended me... He got out pissed off and tried to come at me... I took off like a bat out of hell and he tried to follow, until the next light where I was stuck... I call the cops, guy gets out again, light turns green, I go... Well, I tell the police what is going on and here's what I get... "Sounds like it's your problem." WTF kind of service is THAT?  I did NOTHING to this guy... No finger, no cutting him off... He was tailgating ME! Whatever... Next light the guy gets out with some sort of club/bar, so I put it in reverse as my only option and try to plow the guy over... He ran, I got away... Needless to say, that is the night I bought my handgun...

This would have been an excellent IM. possibly....but figured i might get a couple others in the ems community to offer a couple good tales to entertain us...esp since the last few days there have been alot of anger ridden threads...thought a change might be in order.... |
