I am going to be picking up my lower next week when my pay check lands. When trying to decided if I should get a lower and mags or save for a gun, I was reminded of the resources I have hear. I guess I am looking to put together a poverty build. My budget is very slim, however I do not want to miss this opportunity to express my freedom. Was the salesman correct? Will you all help me peice together a poverty build? Please!

you can put together a DTI build for about 600 -650 .... a3 build w. collapsible stock...
www.del-ton.com You could order all the parts (seperately) and it will be a little cheaper then getting their already built rifles... Just a tip though if you are going to get a separate upper from barrel you will need a barrel wrench and a 1/2" torque wrench that can do 30+ foot pounds... I'm pretty sure though that you can find someone here to let you use their wrenches if you have beer 
And yes it will be a little daunting to build it yourself but that's what we are here for we can help you put it together =] On another note... I build this AR in the last two weeks... It's a DTI Upper kit and a DTI lower w. a Ergo Grip. and yes I also painted in the letters

Osama may take a different route from past bans, but if Biden is any map to the future, parts will be available. Lowers make the rifle, ammo is going up, up & away, and is the weak link.
