Decided to hunt in a new area today, but it was not supposed to be "new"... What was going to be 4 miles up, and 4 miles back in a area that I have been to a million times, turned into " Hey lets go check out this new logging road, we still have a little over an hour for or turn around time".. 13.4 miles later we made it down to the road, and by my map, a tad over 5 miles to the truck still.... it is 20:30 hours, and Im beat to hell. Gave STRAT a call, and 4 min's later we had a ride back to our truck! Thanks STRAT, you saved us a longer night out. |

Wow. Sounds like the stories of Strat always hiding out in the woods (and just around the corner) are true! ![]() You have no idea A free citizenry does not ask its governments' permission to exercise a right. It does not register its exercise of a right. It does not waive any other right, such as the right to privacy, in exchange for permission to exercise a right such as the right to keep and bear arms. It does not permit government to claim the exercise of a right is probable cause, or prima facie evidence, or even a suspicion, of a crime having been committed. It does not discuss, or negotiate, what rights it will or will not exercise with government or with any government functionary. In short, a free citizenry, founded in principles of liberty, does not give up its right to determine what kind of government will receive its Consent to Govern. ––Donald L. Cline |
