Soooooo I'm absolutely torn right now . . .and even though I've been bitching about this to countless friends I figured I needed to write it all down for the, indiscriminate  , hive to judge. . I've been seeing the most beautiful and eerily intelligent girl I've ever met. . . in fact what's crazy is she has her shit together! She makes damn good money, has a solid job, a nice condo on waterfront, and actually enjoys talking politics and religion with me! (I'm a poli sci major with an emphasis of political theory etc etc) ANYWAYS I don't live in Seattle yet, I live out in the woods near Silverdale, but despite this we talk constantly and hang out just about every weekend! When we hang out it's just like were a couple! I sport her around and show her off to my friends, we go to dinner, watch movies, and everything else a couple might do!  Here is the part that gets me! Everytime before I leave we'll have "the talk" she knows I want a relationship and tells me that she doesn't believe people should date in their early 20's . . . She says she really likes me, and really enjoys being with me, and says she feels wierd b/c we mess around, but then usually mumbles off into something about being complicated. . I have a good job lined up in Seattle, I think she's just waiting for that. . . I thought she just gave me the run around earlier because I was heading off to Australia for a couple months but now I'm not sure. . . Also it seems all her old boyfriends were either Doctor's or pro. sports players (I won't name, names but it's wierd) sooo I'm kinda getting an inferiority complex. . . But this girl is SMOKING and i'm TRIPPIN. . . I know she's not seeing anyone else right now. . . Don't get me wrong, no strings attached sex with a model is awesome but I want a trophy girlfriend! WHAT CAN I MAKE OF THIS SITUATION!?! I'm stressin hard. . . SORRY FOR THE RANT! just can't help it. . . and I have pics of this girl but since I know her dad likes guns I'm a lil worried bout posting but if some of the locals want pics send me an IM and I'll shoot ya some so you can see the seriousness of my problem!! *EDIT soooo I just read this post and it sounds like a 13 year old home schooled virgin wrote it. . . If you look at my last posts, I do pretty well for myself with the ladies and I'm really not B/S . . if PCR or Spanky or anyone else wants pics I'll throwem at ya just plz don't put them up. . . worst case scenario but yea u know!* |

| y-e-a the problem is this girl is fucking awesome! other than the fact I'm not to fond of some of her previous boyfriends I'd love to settle down with this girl. Usually when a girl is this hot they're vain and stupid as hell! She's not at all though, very kind and intelligent girl who can carry a conversation with me like none before. . I mean I've only known her like 6 months and yea I want a trophy girlfriend BUT I'd be happy to have her as a trophy wife at some point (not in the plans yet though) |

You may make her feel good, but she is going for wealth and tittles. I meet women all the time who will sacrifice personal happiness just to be married to a Doctor, Lawyer, or Indian chief - drive the high end Mercedes or BMW, and live in the right ZIP code. She gave you her answer. It just wasn't what you wanted to hear. Now your list of what you want in your mate got a little tighter. Thank her for being the greatest girlfriend you could have hoped for, break it off, and go for a hail marry pass at school. And I have never heard a woman talk about it being complicated unless she is seeing another person. |

Yup...definitely a winner. Underneath the funny handle/avatar and hilarious sense of humor there is a very intelligent and wise man. Another useful person. I look at it this way... Remember the old saying about fast cars? "speed costs...just how much speed can you afford?" Well the same thing applies to women: "beauty costs...just how much of it can you afford, and how much grief are you willing to endure?" Never, ever, ever, trust a woman...especially a physically beautiful one. They are all out for whatever they can get and will leave you for greener pastures in a moment's notice. That being said, what women don't realize (since everything is all about them and they're so wrapped-up in themselves) is that there are far more women than men in this world...way more. If you look at the US Census numbers you'll find that just in the King/Snoho/Pierce counties alone; there are over 400,000 women for which there are NO men...at all. That means that there are a hell of a lot of narcissistic women playing games out there that will eventually grow old and pass away alone, unloved, and forgotten. So don't allow yourself to care as to whether she stays or leaves, because you'll simply wind up getting hurt more...I mean, yeah, act like you care on the surface so that she feel's better about herself while she is shit-canning you like so much used toilet paper. Just keep in mind that because there are more of them than there are of you, there is always, ALWAYS going to be another one just around the corner to fill her place. I worry about making money and building my own life and the lives of my kiddo's as best I can... And bro's before ho's...your bro's will stay with you and help you out when you're down and need a hand...ho's will jump the fence and disappear into greener pastures. In my experience...the only men I have ever known who are actually happy in their marriages are the ones who married foreign women from Asia or eastern Europe. I guess those women actually appreciate it when they've got a good life after coming from a place where it is a monumental struggle just to survive. Just my own little $.02 |

Sure,I'll take some pix for, uh...analysis. 4. You're neither old enough or settled enough to make the sort of commitment you're asking about. 5. How well do you know anyone in her circle..friends, family, co-workers? 6. You say you aren't like her previous swingin dicks. What does that tell you? Either you are an anomaly, or she doesn't really know what she wants. I suggest you just enjoy what you have. Make no attempts to nail her down. Just nail her. If you are what she wants, rest assured, she will become the (obvious) aggressor. |

Don't be a pussy.. Post the fucking pictures. Silly is correct. If it's "complicated", there is someone else (or OTHERS), or your just not what she wants.. Women 18-26ish are INCREDIBLY easy. Be polite, open the door for them, talk to them (without the use of words like nizzle and bieotch), pay for dinner, and call or email every now and then to say "Hi, how are you"... AND they WILL drop the panties for you. You sound young (21-24ish), it explains the insecurity. You need to get over that shit. Be the best that you can with out being a door mat and she will come to you. If not, there are MORE than enough fish in the sea, see the above and you will have NO problems getting laid. Once you are 27 or 28 and know what you want in life, pick one to stick around! |
damn. . . that seems like a pretty damn good comprehensive game plan. . But people keep forgetting here, she is really hot BUT she's not a bitch. .I mean not even a little bit! I know the common association! I've seen it! I've dated many! Hot girls are just bitches 99% of the time but this girl is really that 1% genuine (as of now)! If she was a bitch I'd have a whole different attitude and this would be a whole different ball game. . .either way I've got plenty of solid advice (thanks hive) which def. reinforces what my big bro/mentor has been telling me. . just going to ride this one out. |

| hahah that's a good example b/c I posted that on ARF but I didn't post ANY of those pics on facebook. . . Listen I liked this girl before I left for Aussy. BUT she'd been telling me the same thing about being cofused. . and there is no fucking way I'm going to be commited to a girl who I'm not even sure is commited to me while i'm on a trip of a lifetime half way across the world! The man has a valid point. I wise woman who i respect dearly sat myself and her nephew down one day when we were about 22 or 23... She explained not settling down until "The Party" is out of your system. I won't do her explaination justice, but going to Oz, and trying to hump every hottie in the bar means you still have a LOT of party left in you. It's not a bad thing, Enjoy it! You need to test drive as much as you can before you will know the right one! You will notice a change somewhere around 26 or 27, maybe 28.. Hell maybe never. Then you will look to settle down and have a steady girlfriend. |

Just wanted to say, thanks for everyone who has sent me IM's. . . the one thing I know about ARF is that there are some real vets here in the world of relationships and I've been lucky enough to get a couple of good tidbits of advice. . . I tell ya what though if I EVER, I mean EVER go through a divorce, lol there are some very useful threads I'd def. put to my advantage. hopefully won't need those. . |

Glock I'd say you are being too nice. Back off a little cowboy and let her chase you. If she don't then she is not for you. Besides she has 20 other guys falling at her feet, and she needs the space to make up her mind which one. The ugly ones are just as or more bitchy than the pretty ones, but they are cheaper to keep.
