Kimbo got put done in 14 seconds last nite.  He shouldn't have taken the fight on such a short notice.

We watched it at the bar.  His opponent threw about 7 punches and only two really connected.

His problem was, he made no effort to defend himself and the ref called him on it.

Yeah, but the decisive blow was delivered by that Seth guy on the first punch.

Kimbo rushed him (like he usually does) with his chin sticking out there.

Seth had terrific timing and brought up the little front snap-kick or push-kick just in time to throw off Kimbo's rush.  Kimbo's left hand was down when he rushed-in, notice it was Kimbo's left eye/orbital ridge that had the damage.  He left himself open...crude technique.

That little push-kick made Kimbo hesitate just enough and leave his chin/head exposed long enough for Seth to connect...Kimbo folded-up right then.

Obvious that Seth had studied Kimbo beforehand.

Don't get me wrong, both men are forces to be reckoned with in their own right.
Kimbo is a brawler that steam-rolls you.
Seth is a technician that dissects you.
Kimbo may have been able to continue, but his confidence and arrogance was broken.

Seth's timing was perfect, awesome to watch.

Thanks for sharing the vid, maxdun.

Meh, it looked to me like kimbo simply lost his footing and to me it looked as if seths fists were simply bouncing off of kimbos head.

I'm used to seeing someones head recoil and move when hit like that, it looked like seth was hitting a brick wall....

Not that I have any love for kimbo (hate him actually) but I believe that if he had managed to get up, he would have been back in the fight, and the only way seth would have rally beat him fair and square is if he had taken kimbo in a ground fight because it was VERY apparent that kimbo has no groung fight to speak of....

I've seen kimbo with far worse facial wounds and keep going in his street brawls, so what he had here in this fight was nothing, and was absolutly no reason to call the fight.

Nah, he was out.  He was trying to shoot in on the ref.  He just got knocked silly.  That punch was a "jab" that probably would have killed me!

Not at all, Seth showed up to fight in the under card, Shamrock got him self cut warming up and they tossed Seth in the main event. It was cold turky go fight this guy on national TV tonight.

I think that's the mark of a TRUE fight... How many bar fights have you had months to prepare and study film???

Seriously, it looked like Seth was punching a brick wall.  Kimbos head wasn't recoiling at all.  I doubt that Seth did any real damage at all.

Although it is funny to watch kimbos legs flail while seth is going to town.  Kimbo has ZERO ground fight.  Pretty sad really......but still funny...

Kimbo wasn't rocked at all.

Nevermind that he made no attempt to defend himself from the time he started to go down until well after the fight was called.

I think thats what caused the ref to call it, if Kimbo spent less time pruning his tits, and foccused on how people actually fight in this sport, he would have gone to his back in a defensive position, covered his freakin head, and breathed untl his quadruple vision went away. Or, he was tatally rocked, and had no idea he was on his hands and knees. No doubt he was rocked after taking a dozen or so licks on the nose (see above post)
