 MONROE, Wash. -- Police here say a man who robbed a bank Tuesday morning may have jumped into the Skykomish River on an innertube to get away. Officers are searching the water, but so far there's no sign of the man. Police spokeswoman Debbie Willis said the man robbed the Bank of America branch at 19917 Old Ownen Road about 11 a.m. No one was injured in the robbery. |

On my way to work yesterday, they have everyone sitting outside in a taped off area w/ the police caution tape... When I came home last night, they still had big box vans outside with the place lit up like a christmas tree. I cant comment on anymore details that I saw in the police call... Looks like he made a clean get away. |

You know, whomevers money the guy got was insured by the FDIC, and even still; most of the people I talk to about it give the guy props even though we'll hafta pay back the loss. I guess that's what's to be expected when our government gives people a feeling of financial helplessness when then tax us to bail out poor lenders.
