| Hey guys, I still talk to him every sunday. The complications being referred to are more like incompetence issues. He's saying May 09 (hopefully not 6/09). I still check here at least daily and pass on info during our sunday calls. Didn't make the last LCR, had knee surgery the 10th. Hopefully will manage to get together with all of you again soon. Thanks for keeping him in your thoughts and prayers. |

I did visit with Tweak on Saturday. Yes, the complications are due to the legal-Injustice System's incompetence. As for release dates, it appears 6/02/09 is the worst case, 4/30/09 the best case. Didn't get the picture (sorry M). Dropship |
Hey, thought I would jump in here for a minute. I don't get around these parts much anymore. I talked to him last night for our monthly 20 minute gab fest. Another letter to go out next Sunday with information on the M107, including pictures. Yup, he has 20+ files of information, much of it gun related with photos. I don't know who all contributed, but it has been an invaluable resource for him. I have contributed my fair share of gun pron. Yup, 1 more month and it will be 75% if my math skillz have survived.  As posted above, 6/2/09 will be the day he gets to walk out the gate for good, barring any other screwups by AHCC. He is prepared, and pretty much convinced he will, to stay at AHCC until then. May 30 I believe would be a work release date. That will have to be determined at a later interview/hearing/evaluation. That will probably be the last chance for him to get back to the West side, before full release. 4/30 vs 6/2? 32 days? Pffft He says after this time, it's nothing. No worries. Let me explain 'full release'. He will be on community supervision for 18 to 36 months after he is released. It depends on how much is owed and how the DOC feels. At present he doesn't owe anything but at release they start charging him for the program, so he will start off owing that, every month.  No way out, mandatory.I will withhold my evaluation of the DOC that we have dealt with until next Independence Day.  There is a set of rules and guidelines for all DOC. Then each facility interprets and adapts them, then each warden, and on down the line. it has truly been a circus parade. I can't wait for the guys who come in at the end that shovel up the mess, then I will know it is over. I'm so tired.I can say that AHCC is probably better than other prisons. EXAMPLE POSTS ONLY!!! "Put the child molester in prison and let the cons deal with it". Doesn't happen. "I hope he gets put in with Big Bubba and he makes him his bitch'. Doesn't happen. "You have to carry a shiv for protection" Doesn't happen. There are exceptions to every rule, but the worst he has seen is fist fights. Too much testosterone, not enough estrogen. He has a key to his 'house'. He is doing plumbing repairs/maintenance and gets to go all over the prison, it gives him a great opportunity to observe and study. I am beginning to think he may live through this, and he says I worry too much. I don't think he will be going back. The sheer incompetence of DOC, and the constant noise, is what makes him want to not deal with them again. You know his intolerance for incompetence. HMMM wonder where he gets that. He is looking forward to getting out, but has nothing to say about when. We have learned to live within the boundaries (ever changing) we are forced to. FOR NOW!!!!! Thanks Dropship for going to visit him, he always likes seeing you. I hope you got a chance to have a good visit and friend talk. I couldn't get word to him soon enough about your visit, he has to pay for the photo ticket prior to visit. You have a place at the main table, as always. To those of you who visit, thanks, that takes a lot if you are on the wet side. Thanks DOC!!! To those of you who write, thanks, it means a lot to all of us. I try to get one out every 2 weeks, with day to day drivel to remind him of real life. No brag or slight. To those of you who do neither, but think of him once in awhile, thanks. It is important to me that you remember for when he gets back. To those of you who don't care, mehh , you are still all invited to come drink my beer and smoke my stogies next June. Thanks Gibby, I am looking forward to meeting you too. I don't see a problem with the date. Of course we are hoping for the earlier date, but I think it truly will be 6/2. That is a Tuesday. I told him you are keeping the avatar until he is out. Got a new one picked out?
