I'm tired.. my face is still throbbing from the cedar tree.. and I'm kinda irritated that my PSL has issues(as in it wasn't put together right). Been way too long since I last saw everyone.. it was worth it even for a short drive.. Voils and Beetle, glad you made it back safe, nice to meet you both! Matt, it was great meeting the legend  Stay safe dude!And everyone else.. as always, a pleasure! It was pretty cool to see 3 of us representing us southerners in Clark

I didn't even shoot all the guns I brought. Got home a bit later than I planned friday night, then there were complications with my grandma. Thought maybe her time had come, but she turned out to be okay (for now). Cat woke me up too early. Finally got up and loaded the quad and guns and got going about an hour and a half later than I had planned. delayed by a few stops along the way. One of which was stopping to buy some earmuffs (I can't help but wonder how bad my memory will be once I'm old.) Enjoyed the gallon-o-tannerite show, shot a bit, and finally left for the farm to do some riding at about the time I said I'd be showing up there. (halfway between doty and rochester) |
It was the best bad idea ever  at least they didn't blow up my son.....but my nephew was ducking for cover..

Hell I had a good time, clearly evident from the massive bruise on my shoulder. Got a little crispy on the back of my neck saturday, but still a damn good time  It was good to see everyone, apparently I was not expected to show, this theory based on me apparently being too busy chasing tail now that I'm legally single, but hell I'd rather blow shit up with ya'll

Yep, no R-32 = no snow  Although I think the boy and I might have shot more-- +1200 7.62x39, 1000 .22, 100 7.62x54 and around 600 9mm  We had a good time. It was good to see everyone again and am happy 'weed and DaBunny found their way down!

As always... I had a great LCR! Shitty: I forgot the chips, crackers, and other snacks in the cupboard. 7-layer dip got waterlogged by melted ice. Guess I didn't need those chips anyhow! Packing up a wet tent sucks ass. I think that's it for the bad... Awesomeness... My LMT build worked like a dream. I happened to have a complete LMT defender 2000 lower, a magpul stock, an ERGO grip, a KAC m4 RAS kit, & a carry handle laying around... Bought an LMT 16" upper, an LMT bolt, slapped it all together and called it a complete rifle! GMW Remembered the Jack! JHaz (spelling?) cooked the steaks to perfection (one hell of a guy & grill master!) Matt45 is a fucking character! His humor had me laughing my ass off all damn weekend. And a HUGE THANK YOU for taking out the trash bags! It was great to met Voils & Beetle... Two great Americans. Thanks again guys for what you do! ...and of course to those like Dino, da_bunny, GMW, & so on that did the same before you. I enjoyed all hearing all your stories Saturday afternoon. Drunk OdT is a funny ass OdT. Another HUGE THANK YOU for bringing ETA: It was good to finally meet Spankthebear! Glad you didn't shoot me on the spot. You've put up well with me giving you shit! But You still owe us a story... No one gave my newbie TOOOO hard of a time. He enjoyed it and is already looking forward to September. I hope no one had a problem with him. On my way home... I got a new toy! Pictures later! Spending a kick ass weekend with your brothers from about 50 different mothers... FUCKING PRICELESS! |

Combat Leader and I had a great time! hanks Thanks Jonathon for leading us in. Good luck with work & school. I don't remember names well, but hope to see you all again at future LCR's. We remembered the beer, but came home with way too much, next time you guys need to help yourself. h My neck is still glowing hock.gif We went thru about: 1200 rds 22lr, 500 rnds .223, 100 rds 7.62x39, 250 rds 9mm, 100 rds 45. We stayed till the end on Sunday and shot for a while. Left about 1pm. There were still about 5 garbage bags left. If you have a truck try and take some with you next time. We made sure all was cleaned up when we left. Looking forward to the next LCR we can make. We won't forget the Makers! |

About 11 am 2 timber cruisers from DNR came by to see what we were doing and to let us know they were going to be working the next ridge over. Wanted to watch Combat Leader shoot his AR. Both of them were impressed with the accuracy (shooting clays on the wall), and said that it looked like a lot of fun. The older said he knew his son would want one if he saw it. They wanted to know if we had been there Saturday and wondered what was going on? Just some friendly people doing a little plinking hey When they heard all the noisehock.gif, they decided to go work someplace else for the day. They are working Saturdays and Sundays to get all the blow down surveyed so the state can get it sold and logged before if rots. Going to be a lot of clearing in that area coming up. |
 Many thanks to all for another safe & semi-sane LCR. It's always my pleasure to meet more of you, and to get to know the rest better. I think I laughed harder and longer at this LCR than any other. You fuckers are hilarious
