For those that don't know about woot.com , they sell 1 item per day, that is it (well, unless they do a 'woot off').  Everything is $5 shipping regardless of it being an LCD TV or a pencil.  They also write some damn funny product descriptions, some make you say "HUH?!?!" while others are an absolute stomach killer...   I found today's product description awesome (and gun related)...

**FYI, the item will change at 10pm pacific, thus making my link for today's specific item/product description useless...

Hmm, Woot seems to have been overwhelmed by the response of the WAHTF crew. All they're selling right now is a page with 'Directory Listing Denied'.

That was a good laugh!!!

I joined the site. do they always have killer deals like this one?
I don't use I-Pod type devices, but if I did, I'd be buying that one!!!

No Waiting Period, No Background Check
You’ve got a hundred and fifty bucks in your wallet and a hunger for entertainment in your belly. You could always blow it on an iPod Nano 4GB. But you could just as easily blow it on three Sandisk Sansa e260 4GB Media Players, if you’re one of those weirdos who likes to get more for your money than the illusion of hipness. You’d be able to watch and listen to a wider variety of media, you’d get thrice the storage space, and you’d even have enough left over to buy all the Pop Rocks you can possibly pop. Of course, if you’re in the mood for something with a little more firepower, you could pick up a .45 automatic pistol. This handy chart will help you decide which one is right for you...

Yes... Some days it will be a 32" LCD TV for $400-$500, the next day it will be a blackberry for $100, the next day it will be something totally random.  MOSTLY electronics/geek stuff, mp3 players, Computers, laptops, TV's, flash drives, etc...  But there is random shit...

I've gotten a whole bunch of stuff from woot over the last few years.  a couple of GPS (one super cheap and crapy, one a TomTom), memory cards for cameras, other random electronics, etc.

A lot of it is refurbs, most of it is cheap crap, for me its a balance of what the price is vs how crappy the thing is.

every once in a while they'll have a "woot off" where they have a lot of items in one day, but very little of each, so each item only lasts for hours (or minutes!)

other days they do "bags of crap", you have no idea what you're getting, and you can get up to 3 for like 1.99 each.

the posts are pretty hilarious every day, and i thought today's .45 thing was "unpossible", until i clicked the link to see what gun they were linking to.
