Welcome.  You ever hear of LCR?

Yes, come on down to LCR with us. Big fun-- I'll bring some Tannerite.

I grew up in Yelm. When we moved there when my Dad retired from the Air Force in 1964, my Mom, Dad and I raised the town population to 452 . . . look at it now. Delusions of Laceyhood.

Welcome.  There are a couple of us fellow Michiganders here.  What part of Michigan were you from?

The mi will probably stay, since its my home of record.
i'm not familier with a the lcr but i see alot of referances to it in here,
the only downside to all this is that i have to go to missouri for school from this friday untill august.

me and the old lady are hoping that they accept our offer.
i have noticed that yall seem to be about the busiest hometown group, which would be nice, i came from kansas where i shot with a bunch of team guys, and i am hoping to continue it here.

That's OK, it seems half of us in the WAHTF were originally Wolverines.

In fact, it sometimes seems that half the people who live here and were not born here, were from Michigan.

The other half are from California.

Makes it easy for the Michiganders to fit in...

(Firefox's spell checker recognizes "Michigander", but not "Firefox's"!)

LOL.
Well, I resided in Detroit, but I lived, and grew up, Up North.
Back in '93, when I was stationed at Ft Carson, CO, we rented a travel trailer and drove back to Michigan for a family reunion.  Reunion itself was in Richmond (the Old Homestead, as it were), but we drove north, camped at Mackinaw City, did the Soo, Taquamenon Falls, etc.
Mrs. Drang, who grew up here, sez "This is nice, like Washington without mountains, should we retire here?"  And couldn't understand why I laughed at her...
The next day, when we went to Mackinaw Island, was 95 degrees and 95% humidity.
The day after that was 45 degrees and drizzling.
She withdrew the suggestion we retire in Michigan.

The U.P. stands for the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.  Ionia and Muir are nowhere near there.  They are closer to Lansing and Grand Rapids.
