hinking.gif  I am not sure why I go over and over.  The admission price keeps going up.  Prices are not really that good.  In the future I think the only reasonto go is to buy bulk ammo.  The dealers that usually have a good selection of AR accessories were not there this time.  Really I get better prices at All American Arms, NW pawn, and Daves.  Granted the show was big, but I think that I will be dealing online exclusively from here on out.  It was a bit of a letdown for me.  hinking.gifhinking.gif

The show's usually a letdown, but the 7.62X54R, .308WIN, and some pistol ammo prices I saw were basically the same as ordered online and shipped costs. $8 a box for Norinco .223?? $9 a box/20 for most others? Fuggin' Whatever.

There were "some" good deals on used pistols, but there was a lack of EBR stuff.

As far as your choice of shops locally....you really go for both ends of the spectrum, huh?

Those are really the only shops I know of.  I go to dave's once in a while.  I think he has fair pricing.  I make it there maybe 4 times a year.  It isn't the guns so much as the other things in the shop.  Optics and such.  But the dude in the wheelchair is kind of a trip.  Have to take him in limited doses.  I spend most of my time in AAA, or NW on pines.  Closer to home.  None of the shops in the spokane area have much in the way of accessories.  there is a shop in wenatchee, I think it is "one shot"  that you could build an AR with the stuff they have there.  By the time spokane does something like that, ARs will be banned again.  Oh ya, I usually forget about the indoor range on freya.  Not to bad.

500rds of Wolf .223, went home....should have picked up some 30-06......Meet a dealer that was in my old BN 327th in 101st and got to talk of old times some.....Was one of the biggest shows I have been to in Spokane and was fun to walk around/window shop as it was......fried pickles at Hooters were good as well....

The ammo prices were crazy. $77 a sleeve for SA 7.62, $540 a case for Lithuanian and the ammo guy sold every bit of it by sat afternoon !

the $ 8 a box norinco 223 loved the guys little sign " rare never to be imported ever again ! " or something to that effect.

Never seen a good deal on anything at " Daves Gun Museum " .

Yea but the guy that owns it is a first class Fudd, dont let him give you ANY advice.  Plus his prices and brands are not that good, much better to buy from John over at Rainer

I would totally agree with you guys.

The gun shows lately have been very lacking.

Kermit is not there anymore and most of the guys that I usually see have not been hitting the shows for almost a year now.

Very disturbing.

What is the deal with Kermit?  anything in particular?  Maybe he will be at a show in idaho.

I was actually in a LINE waiting to get in, at about 1:00 Friday, so I decided to clear my Glock.  It was just stuck in the back of my pants with an empty pipe and a full mag.  The kid  with his family in front of me heard the noise and turned just as I got it back in my pants with the slide locked back -- ready for the ziptie guy.  It turned out that family, was trying to find their way into the flea mkt.

I had located a nice 2hp electric motor in the flea mkt, but the vendor was 'out', and it was three phase.

I diligently walked the floor and made a point of seeing everything, to get my money's worth.  Found a creampuff of a Pars import Maadi AKM in the very last corner of the last room, and bought it.  It had about 15lbs of cosmolined ammo in a can, and a schweet Lepers scope mount to go with it -- complete with ratty tasco 3-9.  It's the nicest Egyptian I've seen in person.  Got a dozen mags with it too, mostly new Chinese.

I drove right past AAA on my way out -- Looked busy, but I saw Terry at the show.

A young man came out of nowhere at one of the vendors and started telling me about his A4(?) DPMS .308.   Said it would shoot into an inch or so @100, and how much he liked it.  He said he spent a little time on the web and I asked him if he knew about ARFcom.  He said: "What's that?"  I hope he's here by now.

I usually enjoy the Spokane gunshow, but I sure wish the folks that schedule WAC and Spokane could get together and keep from having shows on the same weekend.

We had a pretty fun show at Puyallup, not too terribly busy so you could get around pretty well.

I bought my LR-308 tac 20 from Terry.  Heck of a guy.  I also bought a couple Treager bbq's from him.  AWESOME BBQ machines.  I had Terry meet me in montana a few years back to do a prarie dog control expeditions.  My father in law had an accident, and I had to go home, and Terry and my dad went out to exterminate rats.  Might go again this year.

And if they could just stay away from drill weekends, that'd be just dandy!

The show sucked, I am still in awe of the rpice of ammo. It should have jewels stuffed in every case at these prices.

We really should road trip over to the the coast and see a different show next time.

I wonder how the Puyallup or Monroe shows are in compairison to the one we just had here.

My buddy drove over from the coast to go to this one with me and he said the ammo cans loaded up were $6.00 cheeper at the last Monroe show he was at.

FWIW

He was confused...must've been thinking about the price of the Elk jerky.
