I just got handed tickets to tonights game, I've never been to Safeco field before, is there anything I need to know about getting there or parking (I'm coming from Ft Lewis)?

Good thing I read this thread way too late.



As a DoD member, your best bet is to park in the Coast Guard Station on the Seattle waterfront (2 blocks west) for free.  As an added bonus, the parking is quite secure.

They also have a modest Exchange for your shopping pleasure.

don't drink and drive. They love to catch guys that have had 1 too many beers at the game. A couple of my freind got nabbed in the past.

+1.  Enjoy the game!  Get ther early for parking.  If you don't mind walking a bit you will save a TON of money for parking.

I wish I had known about this. I'll have to utilize it in a couple months.
