My computer started acting funny on me today. When I'm on the net and I want to send a link of the website I'm on to my email list the address list doesn't show up any more. I can click on the "Send Link by Email" button but I can't send the email because my address list doesn't appear. If I try to type my email address in I still can't recieve the email. Has anyone else ever had this problem or know how to solve it? I have Outlook Express, I don't know if it's problem with the email or the web browser. It's probably a setting that needs to be retoggled somewherebut I don't know WTF to do to fix it. I'm fucking confused!

OK, I got it figured out. If anyone else ever has this problem here is the solution. 1. First open OE, go to tools, accounts, mail tab. Highlight your account, then click "set as default". 2. Then open IE, tools, internet options, programs, and select OE for internet mail. 3. And if these dont work. Try repairing IE via the control panel, add/remove programs, highlight IE, click add/remove, then select repair IE. Post back good or bad. |

Well, I'm sorry to hear you are having trouble, and I don't have any idea how to fix it. But I sure will chime in with a COMPUTERS CAN REALLY SUCK SOMETIMES!!! I got a virus from my niece - that Windows Live thing, and now my laptop won't even boot up!  Good luck with yours! |
