| The shortest barrel we can have here is 16" correct? or we can go 14.5 w/ perm fh correct? Is doing it one way better than the other? any pics of 14.5 w/ perm fh? |

You can have a 6" inch barrel if you want but the flash/barrel extensoin must be permanent and be at least 16". Some of the people I train with have the 14.5 with permanent extensoin but even when doing rapid dismount from a car the difference between the 14.5 and the 16 plus fh is not worth the loss of bullet fps in my opinion. I go with the 16 for bullet fett per second or just use my 6.5 AR pistol. |

Anyone have a link or something that describes all the barrel/forearm length etc.. CAR(carbine?), Rifle length, mid length, specter length? And barrels , HBAR, M4, pencil, LW, SPR, etc. I have an idea on a few I built my first AR approx a year ago and learned alittle. Now im looking to build my second and want to learn more more more Thanks in advance for sharing your knowledge with a newb |
