Well things are looking bad in the LCR.  OdT has lost his driveway and there is water coming into his father's house.  They are getting ready to evacuate to a relatives on the hill if they can get out by walking to the highway.  I offered to help but, the highway out to there is underwater.  I just drove around my area and in the 40 minutes I was gone the river has diverted and begun to take out my driveway.  I have seen it like this before but, not happen this quick and this early.

Listening to the radio, reports from everywhere with everyone saying they have not seen it this bad before.  This one may make '96 look like a little one.

This morning the projections weren't even predicting flood stage.

It won't -- It would have to come up about 15 feet and by that time most of Banner Forrest would be flooded. It is the deepest I've seen it since buying this place in 2003.

Pineapple express,  beginning of decmber, typical flooding season.

The field are so saturated there is no wheeled traffic possible, only crawlers can make it without sinking.

Well I just came through my driveway again, it is about 3' deep and running hard.  They are calling for an evacuation.  I guess I am going to put some stuff upstairs, including emptying out the safe.

Shit!  Sorry to hear that the weather is affecting those of you in the LCR this bad.  If anyone needs a place to bed down until the storms are over, my house is available.

Last call fro OdT is they are going to head for higher ground.  I said where?  There are some trucks still in Doty that can make it to the highway and just going to take them up on the hill, just into the woods.  They are guessing the whole town of Doty is going to go under.

PLEASE DO NOT CALL DERRICK, HE HAS NO CHARGER FOR HIS PHONE AND IS LIVING ON WHAT BATTERY HE HAS LEFT!

Wow.  Just wow.  I was sent home today because the office was flooding... cannot imagine my house doing it too.

If any of you whose houses are flooded care to make the drive north and want a warm place to have dinner, let me know!

Returned from a 2 hour SNACTICAL RECON of our area, went to the high ground, and worked our way back to complete the loop...

Burger was good, still lots of snow melting off up above, the rivers are holding, and there is some water over the roadway's out past STRATS house. The guys out in Gibbys area are starting to ask for sand/bags from DEM, our area is looking like it can hold another 6-10 feet before the shooting range turns into a swim course. Rain has stopped, but now it is really warming up, Im sure wind is next, and then more rain.

ODT, 1GR keep your feet dry, and stay safe. ( now go get your HAM radio lic's so you can give us up to date info next time)
